* CNN Heroes House - Raising funds to build a home in Juarez, Mexico, in the summer of 2012 to honor the 10 global heroes and three Young Wonders recognized by CNN in December 2011. Please go to http://www.casasporcristo.org/and donate to new home-building projects!

* Organizing a fundraising walk in Melbourne, Fla. to help meet the needs of the area's homeless population and to fund new housing in Mexico.

Who We Are

Founded by Justin Churchman, Build Better Lives is a non-profit affilated with Our Father's Foundation.

Justin has given thousands of hours of service to community projects ranging from building homes for the homeless and providing outdoor playgrounds to creating moveable walls to increase capacity at homeless shelters.

His primary passion, building homes for homeless families in Juarez, Mexico, was highlighted during the 2011 CNN Heroes awards program on Dec. 11, 2011. One of three "2011 CNN Young Wonders," his story will be featured on CNN.com in 2012.

He also was recognized as one of America's top volunteers by the Prudential Spirit of America  awards and as one of the Build-A-Bear Workshop Huggable Heroes in 2011. In March 2012, he will be honored with his sister Megan Churchmanas the Association of Fundraising Professional's International Youth Philanthropists of the Year.
